Pregnancy Update

So I have officially been slacking since my third trimester in documenting my pregnancy! It just got hectic with Jimmy's wedding Christmas having family around and finishing work that once it all ended I was looking forward to my relax time! Which has been awesome I might add! I have been off work 6 weeks now and it has been so nice to have some time just to myself and time for just Andin and I! We really have been so lucky to be able to do so much together this last few weeks and I feel spoiled! I haven't done an update since I was 25 weeks so things will have all changed on here for sure! But thats ok I just thought since my due date is now 3 days away I wanted to be sure I got the final information written down! I have been so lucky with pregnancy this time around and hope it will be like this with future pregnancies! I am just dying to meet her and it could be any day now! So hurry up would ya!

How far along: 39.5 weeks

Total weight gain: 35 lbs 

Maternity clothes: Haven't bought anything.. but I have been wearing Andins clothes now as they are so much more comfortable! 

Stretch marks: None yet! Hopefully they don't appear at the last minute!

Sleep: Hit or miss! Some nights I sleep great others not as much! I have had a cold 3 times in the last month and a half so thats been hard and the carpal tunnel in my right arm is making sleeping tough as well but it really isn't as bad as I am sure others have it! It is all those pee breaks that get ya tho!

Best moment of this week: Celebtrating Andins birthday yesterday! I was so hopeful she would come and share his special day but it seems she is just enjoying being all cozy in my belly! I guess we will just have to wait a little longer!

Movement: A lot! I am aways shocked when I read and say that they move less because honestly she is a busy bee! I hope that mean she will be chill when she comes out! But Im not banking on it!

Food cravings: Nothing specific for cravings right now or the last while! I mainly have been enjoying fruit and mini eggs! So its quite the contrast!

Anything making you queasy or sick: No sickness for me! 

Have you started to show yet: Yep! And I think thats a good sign!

Gender: GIRL!!!!  

Labor signs: Had braxton hicks fairly often since 34 weeks and some cramping the last week or so but nothing real deal yet! 

Belly button in or out: Definitely out! I can't even remember my belly button before!

Wedding rings on or off: Off as of about Christmas! I took them off just to see and when i tried to put them back on it was a no go! So now just looking like I got knocked up! haha 

Happy or moody most of the time: Still been happy! I have honestly been lucky with how good pregnancy has been!

Looking forward to: Meeting our little princess and seeing what she is going to look like! I think thats one of the things I can't wait for the most! Will she have hair. Whose eyes? What kinda nose! I just can't even wait!

25 Weeks/Thanksgiving

I can't believe how fast time is going! it needs to slow down because I am not quite ready for our baby girl to come! I'm so excited to meet her but I don't feel like I am even close to being prepared enough! This past weekend was Thanksgiving and I don't think i have ever felt i had as much to be thankful for as I do this year! And I'm  sure that will just continue to be more and more each year! this year we are so lucky to finally own our own home! It is so amazing and I can't believe how lucky we are to have this at this stage in our lives! I am also so thankful for how successful Andin's summer job went and that his school schedule allows him to still be working and making money for us and our soon to be growing family. I am also so grateful for this lil baby growing inside me! It is seriously such a bizarre thing to sit and think about! A woman's body really is amazing and being pregnant is definitely a miracle. I laid down on the couch yesterday staring at my stomach and watching her flip around and kick and it is so crazy to just sit back and think how lucky I am to get to experience this. I can't wait to meet her and see what she looks like but I think one of the things I am most excited for is to see Andin with her! He loves to just kiss my belly and talk about what he hopes she is like! it is so fun! And I am also extremely thankful for Andin! He is seriously the best husband a girl could ever ask for. I can't even imagine anyone being better! He helps me so much! He isn't afraid to do the laundry or the dishes and he loves to vacuum which I don't complain about either! I am so lucky to have him and can't wait to see how he is as a new daddy!

How far along: 25 weeks

Total weight gain: 13 lbs 

Maternity clothes: None so far! 

Stretch marks: Nothing yet! but thinking those might take a while!

Sleep: Depends on the night but I think it may be on its way to getting more uncomfortable as the belly is getting bigger!

Best moment of this week: Getting to spend thanksgiving with both of our families over the weekend!

Movement: ALL THE TIME! I swear she is doing flips and cart wheels all day long! She is one active little thing but I love getting to feeler dance around in my belly!

Food cravings: Coke slurpees for sure. Also apples and raspberries are doing the job right now!

Anything making you queasy or sick: I ate too much thanksgiving dinner and was lucky enough to puke that up but thats all for being sick! 

Have you started to show yet: Yes! Belly seems to feel huge! i can't imagine how it is still going to grow!

Gender: GIRL!!!!  

Labor signs: Hopefully not yet!

Belly button in or out: Definitely out as much as it will go right now! It is really stretched and sticks out just at the top!

Wedding rings on or off: On! Hope I don't have to take them off!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. Andin laughs because the last few weeks I have had the giggles big time! I am talking like 12 year old girl everything is silly and funny giggles! I guess its better than crying!

Looking forward to: Being off work! Only 2 more months! I am mostly anxious because it means hopefully that my back pain gets a little better! Sitting at a desk for 8+ hours straight a day and talking to over 200 people on the phone daily takes a toll on my back and neck so I am excited to be done working!

21 Weeks!

I am now over half way! I can't even believe it! Andin says he feels like its been really long. I know what he means but it amazes me how fast the weeks are going by! And the crazy thing is that it's only going to start going faster! Andin is now back in school and we just bought our first house!!!! We get to take possessing Sept 22 and then we can move in! i was really hesitant for a long time but now am so excited to be able to get everything ready for this baby! I think it will be so fun to be able to paint and decorate the way I want since it my house! Also a bonus not to be in a basement anymore! That will be awesome for sure! There has been so much about pregnancy that I didn't know that I am so excited I got to experience and it is better than I thought! I feel so fortunate to be able to have this miracle growing inside of me! Now for my update!

How far along: 21 weeks

Total weight gain: 8 lbs total 

Maternity clothes: None so far! 

Stretch marks: Nothing yet! but thinking those might take a while!

Sleep: On and off. some nights better than others but still waking up a lot in the night!

Best moment of this week: Meeting Dr. Browne yesterday. I loved him and am so happy i chose him as my dr. Andin really liked him too and I'm happy he was able to come to the appt too!

Movement: She moves like crazy! I feel her tons and she is always doing flips i swear! Dr. Browne struggled finding the heart beat because she was moving way too much! Andin also felt her for the first time when i was 20 weeks. (September 8th)

Food cravings: Still oranges… but now I am just hungry way more and want to be eating all the time! Loving ice cream as well.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Smells are starting to bug me all the sudden and thats new! 

Have you started to show yet: Yes! This belly is officially here to stay! And its amazing me how fast it is growing!

Gender: GIRL!!!!  

Labor signs: Hopefully not yet!

Belly button in or out: I guess you could say both! I naturally have a bit of an outtie! But no my belly button hasn't popped and don't think it will for a while! Starting to look different for sure though!

Wedding rings on or off: On! Hope I don't have to take them off!

Happy or moody most of the time: Still mostly happy! but work can change that in a  hurry!

Looking forward to: Feeling stronger movements! and getting into our new house we bought next week! Also setting up the nursery!

19 Weeks

So I am going to add another week to my pregnancy updates! I can't believe how fast the time is going I need it to slow down because I have hardly even thought about preparing for this baby! I have only bought one sleeper! I guess I am banking on some stuff from family being hand down!

I quickly just wanna jot down some of how our first ultrasound went! The whole day was chaos! I was stressed out of my mind and didn't realize how nervous I really was! Before it was all just excitement but then I realized that was mixed with nerves and a bit of fear hoping everything with our little one would be ok! I came to work that morning and just before I left for lunch and to head to the u/s I called Andin to make sure he could make it on time and wouldn't be late! He said he would be leaving in about 5-10 mins so I grabbed us some lunch and waiting for him to meet me! He showed up right on time but could hardly breathe and told me he needed me to run into work to get him some meds. Turns out he had torn or pulled some muscle in his back. He couldn't even walk it was so bad so of course that added to the stress of it all! WE got into the u/s and I  was amazed! It was better than anything I could have imagined and watching Andin take it all in was just as exciting! I think this was the first time Andin felt really attached to the baby since he hasn't been the one growing it in his belly! He just kept saying "holy she is moving so much…" "this is like a movie but better! ""I never thought this would be this good!" He expected it to be like all the pictures he had seen of his sisters that just look like an alien but he didn't think he would get to see her move around! She was definitely showing off for us too! She was rolling around a ton and kicking her arms and legs and it was so fun to watch her! I couldn't believe I couldn't feel her more! But before I left for the u/s was when I felt her the most ! I think she could sense I was a bit nervous and excited! It was awesome! So after the u/s Andin left back to a job site quick and I had a co-worker have the gender ready for me! she went above and beyond and had a present all wrapped for me and told me it would tell me what I was having! It sat on my desk for 2 hours before I could leave work to see Andin! It was torture! So right after work I headed to Andins job site and had the present in my hand! I all the sudden started freaking out! I didn't think I could open it anymore!  Andin laughed and I slowly opened it with tears in my eyes and inside was a little onsie with pink flowers on it! I was so excited! I hugged Andin and the tears came! He was just as excited! He knows a little girl will make him a pushover! And I hope she just has him wrapped around her lil finger from day 1!

How far along: 19 weeks

Total weight gain: 1 lb total as of last Friday 

Maternity clothes: None so far! hoping to see how long I can go without needing them!

Stretch marks: Nothing yet! but thinking those might take a while!

Sleep: It depends on the night still. I have had some nights where I am so over tired i don't even wake up to pee and other nights I am up 5-6 times.

Best moment of this week: Jade having her baby last week and getting to spend the whole long weekend with her and that lil girl!

Movement: I am sure it is movement now! I have felt it on the outside a couple times now but can't get her to move for Andin.

Food cravings: No craving taking over my life but I have been loving orange juice and fruit mostly!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really! 

Have you started to show yet: Feel like the belly is sticking out and people can start to tell.. but no strangers asking yet!

Gender: GIRL!!!! I am so excited! we found out a week ago and I can't wait to meet her! 

Labor signs: Hopefully not yet!

Belly button in or out: I guess you could say both! I naturally have a bit of an outtie! But no my belly button hasn't popped and don't think it will for a while!

Wedding rings on or off: On! Hope I don't have to take them off!

Happy or moody most of the time: I would say happy most of the time! The odd thing at work can make me moody for a while but I haven't been too emotional yet!

Looking forward to: Feeling stronger movements and Andin feeling her for the first time!

Catching up on Pregnancy!

So I have just realized I haven't blogged in a year! Yes, I know that is awful and i will do a post to catch up and post pics from some stuff we have done in the last year but thats for another day! As for now I want to start documenting my pregnancy since I haven't done much of that and I love reading about other peoples pregnancies! I love the lists that stay consistent the whole pregnancy so you can see how things are changing! so that is what I'm going for here! 

How far along: 17 weeks

Total weight gain: 0 lbs as of my 16 week appt. But haven't weight again since!

Maternity clothes: None so far! hoping to see how long I can go without needing them!

Stretch marks: Nothing yet! but thinking those might take a while!

Sleep: It depends on the night! Some nights I sleep solid but other nights between the dreams and trying so hard to make sure I am sleeping on my sides I don't get a good nights rest! Last night was the first time I had any sort of back and hip/leg pain while i slept so hopefully that won't last! 

Best moment of this week: Getting to see out place we will be moving into this weekend! It is crazy to me to think there is going to be a nursery to start decorating!

Movement: I can't tell for sure! Sometimes I think ok that has to be baby but since I have never felt a baby for sure I can't tell! hopefully it will be a for sure thing soon!

Food cravings: Not really any cravings at all up to this point! not craving sugar as much as before being pregnant but I have found through my whole pregnancy nothing really sounds very good to me! except peaches nectarines and watermelon! But I wouldn't say it is a craving as I haven't made Andin run to the store just to get them!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really! Haven't been too sensitive to smells!

Have you started to show yet: Barely! I am to the point where I look like i have a lil ponch! I can tell and so can a few close people but I don't think everyone else can yet.

Gender: Unknown! Finding out on Monday! (our two year anniversary! Funnest anniversary yet? I think so!

Labor signs: Hopefully not yet!

Belly button in or out: I guess you could say both! I naturally have a bit of an outtie! But no my belly button hasn't popped and don't think it will for a while!

Wedding rings on or off: On! Hope I don't have to take them off!

Happy or moody most of the time: I would say happy most of the time! The odd thing at work can make me moody for a while but I haven't been too emotional yet!

Looking forward to: Moving, the ultrasound, Jade having her baby on the 28th, and our anniversary!

I think this list covers most of how things have gone for me but to remind me for next time I want to write a little about the first trimester! 

I was super nervous taking that first test. I woke up the morning my period was due but couldn't wait until i noticed my period was missed to take a test so i peed on the stick first thing that morning! (Andin was still dead asleep) I looked after like 30 seconds and it looked like not pregnant! (I thought I was patient-- guess not!) I threw it in the garbage and continued getting ready for work. I was not too stressed because I thought it might be too early to test. After a while I was thinking I don't think i waited long enough so I went back to the garbage and grabbed it out and boom PREGNANT!!! I was instantly into psycho spas mode with excitement! I couldn't believe it was real! I ran into Andin and said look Andin it says I am pregnant but in his asleep state I didn't get the reaction I was wanting so I got kinda upset! then in a few mins when he actually woke up he was excited! He was much more nervous about the life stuff instantly i.e money, school, a house etc. but all I could think about was that baby! After that I slowly was waiting to get sick! Then one day at about 6 weeks I was at work dripping sweat and puked at my desk! I was sure this was a sign of what was to come. But lucky for me I had just caught a bug after camping with my in-laws on the weekend. Then after that was fairly smooth sailing. I didn't puke again at all and only slightly felt nauseous at some times. The only things I really had during the first trimester was being really tired and having like no appetite! Nothing sounded good to eat! But other than that I was really lucky! Then hearing the heart beat at my 12 week appt was like a miracle! Andin's face lit up! He couldn't believe it! It was found instantly and such a relief to hear! I loved it and wish I could have had the whole thing on video! I have heard it couple more times since and it puts an instant smile on my face. Now just waiting a few more days on that first ultrasound and that will be a whole other thing to be excited about! Well this post got a lil long as I was trying to catch up on everything! Pictures of belly to come as it shows! (Guess that means I should start taking some!)

Summer- the fastest season!

Well I can't believe summer has come and gone already! I hate how fast the summer goes. It is always the best time of year! Andin is not dealing with the stress of school and for some reason that hot air that hits you the second you walk outside just makes you a happier person! It is crazy to think we live here when our winters are always twice to three times as long as our summers. Or maybe it just feels that way because winter traps you inside but in the summer there is just too many things to do that the busier you are the faster it goes! This summer has been especially great! It was our first summer as a married couple so everything we did we got to do together! Trying to wrap my head around everything we have done makes it seem impossible to remember everything! We spent almost every weekend down at the cabin, went fishing, horseback riding, played in a soccer league, had fires, went swimming, spent tons of time with friends and family, had our first anniversary, slept on the trampoline, and thats only the beginning! The other thing i love about summer is that golden skin that people seem to get (Andin always gets it better than me). It makes people look alive and so much healthier. I dont feel like my skin is see-through and love having to wear hardly any make up! Well I will get to posting some pics to show how much fun we have had! So good bye fli flops and hello boots! Please September... lets keep this summer rolling...
